A fabulous new idea from Andrew’s overactive brain! Get your class really enjoying their maths revision, using these free downloadable PDF grids. They take it in turns to play as a pair or as two groups; it’s up to you.

The first player chooses a question, answers it, checks with the teacher or a partner, and if it is correct they can place their O or X in that square. Play then passes to the other [player (or team).

The usual rules of Os and Xs apply, though you might want to introduce the chance of a ‘steal’ if someone gets a question wrong!

They could even play against the teacher, giving a whole new spin to the ‘I do, we do you do’ concept!
